Dryflow fabric’s highly effective moisture management works when you are active & sweating to spread the moisture over the large surface area to evaporate rapidly, & then when you stop the fabric dries very quickly to ensure efficient temperature control, reducing the chilling effect.  Blended with the polyester is a as Cocona yarn made using natural technology & contains activated carbon from discarded coconut shells.  Cocona will not wear off or wash out as it is contained inside the fibres.  It is extremely breathable & accelerates evaporation by increasing the surface area by 800%.  The activated carbon element absorbs odour molecules which are then released & the carbon refreshed by the warmth from washing & drying.  As well as all that it provides a natural UVA & UVB barrier & shields the skin from harmful UV radiation. To really help you remain pong free Lowe Alpine has added Microban to the balaclava which inhibits bacterial growth to keep the Dryflow Balaclava smelling fresh.  Microban is built in during the manufacturing process providing odour control for the lifetime of the garment
