The face fabric is a densely woven flat finish high grade nylon that gives the  Vanir superb durability. The high front bib features vertical twin chest pockets & fully adjustable & removable braces with electro plated steel buckles for strength & corrosion resistance. The back of the bib is cut lower & made from mesh fabric for increased breathability, especially when carrying a pack. An integral waist belt helps to cinch in any excess fabric & improves insulation when its really nasty outside.  The  Vanir has an athletic fit, they are narrower in the legs, to avoid excess fabric and maximise performance. Diamond crotch patterning & articulated knees improve mobility & the knees are reinforced to protect this vulnerable area.  Jottnar have decided to avoid full length zips as they can form a bulky uncomfortable area at the waist, especially when wearing a harness.
