Considered a prebiotic, Inulin is a carbohydrate that good bacteria in your digestive system utilises to produce a number of nutrients which are beneficial towards human health. How can Inulin be used? Inulin is also used in baking to preserve the moisture in cakes & biscuits, but also as a binding agent. Inulin can also be used as syrup, by mixing it with water & heating. Finally, this versatile fibre can be used in smoothies to make them thicker & more satiating. The dietary choices of all our customers are extremely important to us. Whilst this product is manufactured using ingredients & processing aids suitable for the vegan diet, please note that dairy powders are also used within the same production facility & cross contamination may occur at very small levels.
