The Keen Gypsum Mid is
your all-terrain hiking
boot designed and built
to get you there! It has
a mixed fabric, nubuck
and textile upper, lined
with the Keens
proprietor Keen.Dry
waterproof breathable
membrane for excellent
waterproofness and
breathability. For
improved moisture
management around the
opening of the boot the
area has been lined with
Dri-Lex. Dri-lex is a
combination on
Hydrophobic (moisture
hating) polyester and
Hydrophilic (moisture
loving) nylon. This
combination of yarn types
provides awesome wicking
capabilities, as one
sucks moisture up and the
other pushes it away. Its
dual density,
compression-moulded EVA
midsole topped the
Keen.Zorb strobel means
this boot is pretty damn
good at absorbing shock
form your heel strike.
Making walking easier on
the old joints. The outer
sole is made from a
dense, durable non
marking rubber. The heel
cup is reinforced by is
TPU heel stabiliser and
the sole in stiffened

on its predecessors

injection moulded PU
midsole and Exoskeleton.
This clever construction
technique provides
cushioning and support
and extends up and around
the heel to provide
additional support and
pronation control. The
Tribute 2 GTX has genuine
straight out of the box
comfort and wearability.
They are so light and
easy to wear you just
want to stick them on and
go for a walk. AKU are
about the only
manufacturer to keep the
last (the solid form that
dictates the boots shape)
inside the boot
throughout the whole
production process. By
doing this the Tribute
memorizes its shape
through the most critical
stages of production.
Whilst this may be a more
costly operation it
ensures the integrity of
shape and ultimately your
comfort. This process
also a more accurate
sizing as the boots
don’t shrink when they
cool off after the
moulding process. A TPU
lasting board provides
structural support and a
natural rolling walking
action. Grip and support
are provided by a deeply
lugged Vibram sole unit
with a positive heel
brake to provide
additional security when

can be worn straight from
